Thank you for your encouraging words which always speak to my heart, and especially at this time since I recently lost my youngest sister to brain cancer. Death has that effect of bringing us closer to reality.
I can't imagine that pain. My condolences, Dolores. This life is a thin veneer indeed. At times we are forced forced to see just how fragile our days are. The reality of death should draw us nearer to the hope of resurrection, where every tear shall be wiped away, and no sorrow will touch our souls again. I pray that the comfort of Christ, who has conquered death, fills your heart in your grief. We grieve, but not without hope, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and eternal life to all who trust in Him.

This was encouraging to read. Thank you!
Beautifully said, thank you. It brings to mind one of my favorite verses, since having turned 65...
"For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day."
~2 Corinthians 4:16 KJV
