Ken, Iknow that feeling well. There is an antinomy in the life of faith; the more glorious we see Christ to be, the fuller the portriate of Christ becomes, and we see more darkness in ourselves than ever before. Take heart. You are not alone.

“I am not what I ought to be,

I am not what I want to be,

I am not what I hope to be in another world;

but still I am not what I once used to be,

and by the grace of God I am what I am”

I’ve always struggled under the misapprehension that upon becoming a believer I’d quite naturally become more and more like my Savior.

While in eternity I’m holy and sanctified, yet as time goes on I realize how great the gulf truly is in my experience.

Very timely reminder that flies in the face of a woke world gone mad with a sense of entitlement and anger. Oh to be more like our Savior in this regard. Thanks son
