The Comer's Balm
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
You don’t have to hide from Me,
the parts of you that ache,
For in your deepest sorrows,
My love shall never break.
I see your burdens heavy,
the fears you cannot speak,
Yet in your fragile moments,
It is My strength you seek.
Come unto Me, thou weary,
rest within My grace,
I’ll cradle all your heartache,
and wipe tears from your face.
In the shadows of your trials,
My light will ever shine,
No sin can separate you,
for all your wounds are Mine.
With every silent whisper,
your soul’s unvoiced despair,
I’ll weave a thread of mercy,
and meet you in your prayer.
No matter where you wander,
no matter where you roam,
In Me you’ll find your solace,
in Me you’ll find your home.
So bring to Me your burdens,
Sins doubts that pierce your soul,
For in My tender presence,
I’ll make the broken whole.
You don’t have to hide from Me,
for I have known your pain,
And with My boundless love,
I’ll make you whole again.
So bring to Me your burdens,
the shadows you conceal,
For in My boundless mercy,
your heartache, I will heal.
You don’t have to hide from Me,
for I have borne thy shame,
And with My endless love,
I’ll call you by your name.
Let not your heart be troubled,
nor let it be afraid,
For I am thy Redeemer,
in whom your hope is laid.
In every silent moment,
in every cry and plea,
Know this, My precious child,
you are beloved by Me.
That is a touching poem that you wrote. Thanks for sharing. I didn’t quite understand the title. Could you tell me more about that?
Very comforting and reassuring. Thanks
